Teaching Observations

At the request of an instructor, a member of OIA will observe your class for the purpose of providing feedback about any aspect of your teaching. The feedback is formative in nature with the pedagogical goal of improving student learning. The feedback is related to teaching issues identified by the instructor and is provided in a follow-up meeting or in writing, or both.
 

Instructors can also use the Peer Review of Teaching Protocol for teaching observations. This protocol includes guidelines for formative review and teaching evaluation.
