Rachel Aquilar

My Piece of the Puzzle:

Rachel is the Instructional Applications Support Liaison for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Learning Technology Center.  Rachel's responsibilities include software support, instructional support and provide workshops/training for faculty, teaching assistance and staff.  She is also a member of the D2L Support Team and works intensively with the course management system 'Desire 2 Learn' (D2L).

Backgroung & Education:

Rachel has been an university employee for ten years and began with the department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering working with the Undergraduate Program and found her dedication to help students.  This dedication has become crutial when consulting instructional best practices with faculty.  Rachel was promoted to work with the Chemistry Department and became instrumental to the pilot of Desire 2 Learn before the program became available university-wide.

Rachel continues to expose herself to continous learning and has not given up on obtaining her college degree.
